Finance

We are set up with UDC Finance Limited, so a new outboard, a repower, a trailer, a refit or a workshop job can be financed through us. Apply online in about ten minutes, day or night, and we will have the job ready to go when approval comes back.

What can be financed

  • New and used outboards, and repowers
  • Inboard engines and sterndrives
  • Boats, hulls and trailers
  • Electronics packages and refit work done through our workshop

UDC fund production marine craft under 12 metres that are trailer transported, owned in New Zealand and used mainly in New Zealand waters. Security is taken over the hull, trailer and engine.

Terms

  • New assets can go to 60 months, with payments geared to 84 months
  • Used up to 10 years old can be funded over 60 months
  • No set minimum deposit outside promotional offers, though a deposit helps the application

Rates and fees

Rates sit between 8.95% p.a. and 10.95% p.a., fixed for the term of the loan, with the exact rate set by UDC. These fees apply to the loan:

  • UDC establishment fee $130
  • PPSR fee $10.35
  • Dealer origination fee $50, which is ours
  • Maintenance fee $0.50 a week for the life of the loan

Running now: 0% p.a. on new Mercury outboards

Mercury and UDC are running 0% p.a. finance, fixed for a 36 month term, on new Mercury 40hp to 300hp outboard engines purchased at recommended retail price, from 5 October 2026 to 24 December 2026, while stocks last.

  • A deposit of 10% of the engine RRP is required
  • Mercury Racing and commercial SeaPro models are excluded
  • The motor must be bought at RRP, and the offer cannot be combined with any other special, discount or promotional offer. If you would rather have a discount on the motor than the 0% rate, say so and we will price it both ways
  • Fees apply as listed above: UDC establishment fee $130, PPSR fee $10.35, dealer origination fee $50, and a maintenance fee of $0.50 a week
